Not only myself, our daughters, family and friends but many listeners and people from around country truly miss Derek. He is definitely loved by many. He loved entertaining everyone and anyone he could. He always said to me, I want to make one person smile or laugh a day because you never know what is going on in their life. He had the biggest heart and lived his life to the fullest. Known to many as D, Drock, Dswizzle. He will live on not only in our life's but also in 529 Productions. As Derek would say on any signoff "Deuces or 2 claps and a Ric Flair, WOOOOO...."
Derek's Bio
You will hear Derek midday Monday - Friday on 103.9 The Fox. Besides being a Radio Joc, music has always been his passion. Known to be quick-witted with jokes that never get old, a wealth of useless knowledge, not only with music and who sings the songs, but also sports. Love to get a smile and a laugh for being goofy. Music is a big part of his life, even though he cannot play an instrument… although he has been known to air drum from time to time.
HIs daughter, Emma, is his world and inspiration. A huge sports fan (die hard Michigan/Tigers) and concert goer, and has a shoe addiction. Yes, he owns a ton of Nike shoes… don’t judge.

Our daughters are everything, our worlds. Nothing comes before the girls, Emma and Madison.
The love that Derek & DeLynn have for each other along with their passions is fun and amazing to watch
